Decorating a bathroom with space limitations, whether horizontal or vertical, is a difficult task and requires a lot of ingenuity. We will see here some very particular solutions that may serve you or that you can adapt to your needs. Without further ado we begin.
When the ceiling structure is limited to you, for example because it is a sloping roof, you have to manage to distribute the elements according to the height normally required for their use. Here for example the toilet has been installed in the lower area.
Here it has been preferred to take advantage of the part with smaller height to install a bathtub with shower in the highest part.
When there is very little space and we want to install a shower in a bathroom with the sloping roof we can resort to also lining the roof with tiles. It is a good way to avoid problems of humidity.
The bathrooms installed in the bedroom are usually not very large. A very good option for not reducing the room visually is resorting to glass walls. Everything will look more spacious, the room and the bathroom itself.
Another solution is to leave walls and create an open area. Here, the toilet area has been partially closed with a small wall.
If we install a bathroom integrated in the bedroom we will provide a lining for the floor itself and differentiated from the rest of the room if it has been used wood or carpet. We will thus avoid continually wetting these surfaces.
In a narrow bathroom we will install the toilet in the bottom and the sink to the side. We take full advantage of the area of our mini bathroom.
Another solution is the one used here when installing the toilet in a corner next to the bath. The idea is to leave as much free space as possible in the access area.
The mirrors, as you know perfectly, are a sensational resource to create sensation of amplitude. So although our bathroom is small the mirror better be large.
There is no problem about it. We can even cover the whole area of the sink with a large mirror that occupies the entire wall.
Japanese-style bathtubs, deeper but less spacious than usual, go very well for confined spaces. We see here how we can have tub and shower in the space that would occupy a normal bathtub.
Actually having a comfortable bathroom, however small, is just a matter of looking good and deciding right. As we see in this bathroom for which we found a bath that fits like a glove.
